Frequently Asked Questions

Registration

When will the registration open?

The registration will open on 24th June 2026, 20:00 (CEST, UTC+2) here on this website.

Registration is full, what can I do?

Wait. We will inform you when there are free spots available. You can also find this information in the News section. You can also keep track of your nickname in the pending registration approval list section of the website (currently under construction), to see where your registration status is in relation to other attendees. If an already approved registration is cancelled for any reason, the place of the registration will be given to the next person on the list, and so on. A re-registered participant will be placed at the end of the registrations pending approval list. The 10-day payment deadline for KRAZ z.s. will begin the following day after you receive your approval email.

I am not 18. Can I also participate?

Unfortunately, not. The consite is strictly accessible for people over the age of 18, with no exceptions. If you reach the age of 18 by 4th November 2026, you will be allowed to join the consite. Please contact the orgateam first using the contact form found on the website.

Do you offer a non-accommodation package this year?

Unfortunately, no, we don't offer a non-accommodation package this year.

Hotel offers a late check-out - this is to be individually booked and paid (6 EUR per room) at the Hotel's reception. Be aware, that the request can be denied due to a high occupancy of rooms!

Payments

When do I have to transfer the payment to KRAZ z.s.?

Within 10 days of approved registration. If you do not, your registration will be cancelled without prior notice. The time begins on the day following your registration approval, starting at 00:01, and ends after 10 days (on the last day at 23:59). You can repeat the registration after this time, but you risk no longer having an available place.

How will I know about my payment status to KRAZ z.s.?

Within 5 business days, you will receive an email confirming your payment for registration along with other instructions.

Can I pay using Revolut?

Yes, paying by Revolut is possible. However, keep in mind that Revolut sends money via an intermediary, which is usually a bank abroad, meaning that the payment will come to us from an unknown account, and if you don't fill your credentials into notes, we have no way of identifying your payment and assigning it to your Registration. This could lead into cancelling your registration, so please, in your own interest, fill in your payment details. Also please keep in mind that Revolut payments cannot be refunded.

My Registration shows "Paid (with Unpaid Balance)". Do I have to send the remaining money immediately?

No. If you have a small unpaid balance on your account (up to 150 CZK / 6€) it is completely allright to pay that in cash at the Event's site during the registration on site.  However, if your unpaid balance exceeds 150 CKZ / 6€, please, make sure to send the amount to our account as soon as possible, at last before the Payments deadline. Feel free to contact us using the Contact form on our website in case of any uncertainties.

Can I cancel and obtain a refund for my paid registration?

Registration fee is used to cover the cost of the con including advanced payments. Therefore, the fee usually cannot be refunded. However, it is possible to transfer the registration fee and a place at the accommodation facility to another attendee if approved by organizers. The financial matters between the original and the receiving attendee are the sole responsibility of the attendees, KRAZ z.s. has no role in the financial transfer. Also, the receiving attendee will receive all commitments of the original attendee (including room sharing). Use the Contact Form to initiate this process.

I've already paid for my registration but I'd like to add more items. Can I?

Of course you can. However, we'd kindly ask you to minimize additional payments in order to save us some of our accounting efforts (does not apply for Binding Orders).

Something has happened and I can not pay within 10 days of registration.

In that case, please let us know as soon as possible using the contact form on the website. We will consider each situation on a case by case basis. Otherwise, registration will be cancelled 10 days after registration approval.

I couldn't pay on time and my registration was deleted. What now?

Removal of your registration does not mean ban for the con. You can create a new registration at any time, however, you risk that there will be no more places available.

Is it possible to pay using a credit card at the convention?

Yes, bars in the Great Lounge, Memphis Club and Mecca Club accept card payments.

You listed prices for registration packages in CZK only. How do I properly convert my currency into yours to know how much to send?

We are often seeing that our attendees send us less or more than they should, resulting in an unpaid balance, overpayment, and inconveniences on both sides.

Common mistake is that the attendee does not use the option of a payment in a different currency. Many banks and internet / mobile banking apps allow their clients to send money in a different currency than their account is listed in - meaning that they can choose to send the money in CZK (and pay for the fees for currency transfer). In such cases, we always receive the correct amount and you don't need to worry about anything else.

Unfortunately, we are aware that not every bank (mostly overseas ones) offers this option. Attendees then tend to simply Google "CZK to EUR" and send an approximate amount of money based on their search result. That is, however, incorrect. Google automatically shows the best exchange rate for selling currency, which is, unfortunately, strongly different from the exchange rate for buying currency, which is the one the bank uses for currency transfer. This is why we've prepared this simple manual which will help to minimize the deviations in your payments.

For this example, let's pretend you are sending us money from your Euro (EUR) account. On the day when you are planning to send the payment (ideally right before doing so) open this webpage Raiffeisen Bank - Currency rates. The first line in the table is the one we're looking for - it shows us current exchange rates for Euro currency (EMU).

Take your payment amount and divide it with the currency exchange rate for "Non-cash Buy". The result is the amount in EUR you're going to send us. Simple, right?

Let's say your payment is a total of 8000 CZK. Take the "Non-cash Buy" exchange rate from the Currency rates website (23,762 on the picture above) and divide the total payment with it - so 8000 ÷ 23,762. You should have a total of 336,67. That is the amount of Euro to be deposited into our account. Don't forget to pay for the transfer fees here as well, otherwise you risk an unpaid ballance on your side!

Notice, that if you simply Google "8000 CZK to EUR", the total amount in EUR is significantly different from the one we calculated above (differs by 12 EUR during writing of this manual).

If you are sending the payment in different amount than in EUR (eg. USD, HUF or others), simply scroll down on the Currency rates website to find your currency. Always use the number in the Non-cash Buy column!

Why do we use the Non-cash Buy column? When sending money from one bank account to another, it is always non-cash, because we are not directly handing physical cash into each others hands. Buying means that our bank has to "buy" the currency from your bank and then exchange it itself to deliver us our account's currency.
